Q. What is a data center? A. A data center is where the majority of an enterprise servers and storage are located, operated and managed. In a data center, servers, storage and network devices must be properly maintained and upgraded. This allows you to keep your data even if you lose your computer. With the Cisco UCS 82598KR-CI adapters, a maximum of two adapters are presented to the VMware ESX hypervisor running on the blade. This interface count does not support a fabric failover, and the service console must be migrated to the Cisco Nexus 1000V Series Switch along with all these other adapter types if any high-availability requirement exists.
